I strive to respectfully empower individuals with strategies to successfully navigate life’s challenges. I consider my client’s racial and ethnic background, and their life experiences in formulating my approach. My specialties include adolescent issues, crisis, loss, parenting, and trauma. Also, I treat a wide variety of mental health conditions including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Therapy is not advice. Rather, individuals uncover their own answers during therapy sessions. Educating clients on mental health conditions in itself provides individuals an understanding that guides the resolution of day-to-day life issues. For this purpose, I provide a neutral therapy setting to encourage individuals to create an objective, insightful lens into their lives, relationships, and conditions. Further, this insight inspires individuals to acquire new perspectives and make sustainable changes that extend beyond the therapeutic environment. Clients work to achieve self-defined personal and relational peace.
