DBT and EMDR

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are techniques used by trained clinicians to aid in the emotional work of psychotherapy. Dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT) teaches one to modulate one’s mood and is especially helpful for those who struggle with personality disorders.  Eye Movement Desensitization and  Reprocessing (EMDR) is an eye movement desensitization process which also helps modulate one’s mood and is especially helpful for those who have suffered trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder.
