We all experience difficult seasons in life, and I believe we do the best we can with what we have. Yet sometimes going through these difficult times can cause us to feel stuck, lost, unsure of ourselves or afraid. Healing is a process, not an event and it can be tiring to try and face these issues alone.
I believe in the healing qualities of the therapeutic relationship and I love to create an authentic, welcoming environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, struggles and triumphs. I see therapy as my opportunity to join you in your journey toward healing. Through our connection, together we can explore the beliefs and patterns that may be keeping you from where you want to be. I am a caring and honest therapist and will provide a space for you to be heard and understood. Everyone has a story worth hearing and I look forward to joining you in your healing process.
I welcome clients ages five through adulthood and work with a variety of life struggles including depression, anxiety, trauma, physical/sexual abuse, relationships, grief and loss, life transitions and family issues.
I have a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, also from UGA. Personally, I have lived in the Atlanta area for most of my life, but occasionally miss my home up north as well. I am married and have a dog named Sulley who is my pride and joy. I enjoy traveling, music and crafting in my free time.
