Using a holistic and somatic approach, I help people who are feeling anxious and overwhelmed experience relief. Are you so worried about how you’re living your life that you’re not living it? Motivated to be your true self, but are not sure who that is or how to get there? I work with sensitive systems that are seeking balance and a sense of identity. Together, we can slow down to begin moving through the anxiety and start placing yourself within your own story. Therapy with me is a mindfulness-based collaborative process that nurtures unseen parts in order to release your creative energy.
Unresolved trauma and stress can reverberate into all areas of life, and can show up in unexpected forms. As a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, I am able to utilize that biopsychosocial technique to help release stress and trauma that has become stored in the nervous system. Rather than overriding a person’s system, I work with people to access and clear the body-based underpinnings of stress and trauma. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and have experience working with people with chronic illness and disability.
Choosing a therapist is a big decision, and you want someone who will feel right for you. Within a supportive environment, we can draw on somatic and parts work to examine relationships and to get a better sense of yourself.
