Sally Hildreth, LAPC

Therapy provides a unique space to attend to the mysteries of your life—those persistent issues that never seem to change no matter how hard you try. Whether life has lost its meaning, or you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, feeling stuck in career, or disconnected from the richer, more vibrant life you know is possible; together we’ll find a way through.

I approach my work with others from a trauma-informed perspective, integrating mindfulness, experience in the here-and-now, and an understanding of self that includes our place in society and the larger world. We exist, always, in relationship to others and it’s through our therapeutic relationship that we’ll work to create change in the rest of your life. Our process will develop in a warm, nonjudgmental space that honors the strength found in vulnerability and the time it takes to unfold.

Education and Special Interests
I completed my Master’s in Psychology at the University of West Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science from Boston University. My education has focused on psychotherapy from a humanistic and depth perspective, as well as the integration of myth and ecology with the psychological. I have special interest in working with dreams, transpersonal and anomalous experiences, and those grappling with integrating deeper meaning in everyday life.

My work is also informed by over a decade of astrology and divination studies, which can be incorporated when desired. Tools such as an astrology chart or tarot can aid in moving through a specific life issue or work similarly to Jungian dream analysis.

I encourage you to call and welcome any questions you may have before getting started.
